Started Puppies

We do not currently have any started pups available. We might offer a started pup or two in Spring 2010.

Newtown Kennels sometimes offers Started Puppies for sale.

We define a Started Puppy as having the following: Introduction to crate and house training. Basic manners (such as: don't jump up, no counter surfing, no jumping on the back door, don't chew on furniture, don't charge through doors, come, etc.). Introduction to gunshot, pigeons, quail and water. Socialisation with children, other dogs, cats and horses. Riding in the car.

16 month old male

Chongo is a neutered, affectionate, house trained and energetic Griff. The ideal family will be active and seeking a fun and outgoing indoor companion. I have started Chongo in the field. He has been introduced to gunshot, quail, pheasants and chukar so far and has a ton of potential. He is steady to wing and is showing a natural retrieve. He rides easily in the car and is crate trained. Chongo is good with other dogs but plays pretty rough with the other males here.
